Remuneration: Band 6 salary from $104,133.36 per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO
Location: Werribee based with potential for a hybrid work arrangement
About the role
The Child & Family Support Team work alongside our Maternal & Child Health and Early Education & Care Units, coordinating and facilitating administrative practices to ensure we are meeting community needs and service agreement commitments efficiently and effectively. We are looking for a proactive and driven leader who will take the opportunity to bring a lens of improvement and innovation to the work that we do.
In this role, you will work closely alongside our Child, Family, Health and Wellbeing Unit to enable the provision of Maternal & Child Health services across the Wyndham community. You will support the Child & Family Support Team and the Service Lead Child & Family Support to evaluate data and processes to identify new and better ways of working.
You will lead compliance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure that all obligations and standards are met within this highly-regulated environment, while also exploring avenues for strengthening the customer experience. As part of this, you will draw on your expectational stakeholder engagement skills to build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities to improve the delivery of the service.
You will also provide a strong, considered leadership presence for the team, which draws on the existing values and culture of the space, with the aim of supporting, developing, and empowering individuals to undertake complex problem-solving and provide a high-quality service.
What your day will look like
- Leading and supporting the Child & Family Support Team to ensure high-quality service delivery within a highly-regulated environment.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and community outcomes.
- Contributing to service planning and quality improvement initiatives within Child & Family Support, by managing reporting requirements and supporting the Child & Family Support leadership team.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to increase service impact and reach.
- Reviewing, developing, and implementing efficient policies, procedures, and administrative processes to support service excellence.
What you will bring
- Proven strong leadership experience to lead and develop teams.
- Strong culture and change management experience, with the demonstrated ability to adapt to changing needs.
- A customer experience focus, being able to identify problems and generate solutions within our service.
- A knowledge and understanding of Maternal & Child Health Service and/or Early Education & Care delivery and legislative requirements.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and evaluate processes and systems.
